ABOUT ME

aboutme.png
Leo Meconi is a fifteen years old singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has been playing the guitar since he was seven and he began writing his first songs at twelve.

His musical idols have always been Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and especially Bruce Springsteen, but he has also been influenced by the pop sound of Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes, they are all artists he's inspired by while in search of his own personal style. Despite his young age, Leo has performed live several times.

In 2017 he was a finalist at "Vocine nuove Castrocaro", in 2018 he won the "Festival Incanto" in Ravenna, he came in second place in the competition "A voice for Europe" and he won the first edition of "Punto Radio Talent".

“It's just me... and my guitar” is his first album published on the 5th of July 2019 and it contains two of his original tracks: Satan's Street and Guitar Man. July 5th is an important date for Leo: on that day in 2016 Bruce Springsteen invited him on stage at the San Siro stadium for a guitar duet on Dancing in the Dark and that evening was the inspiration for the first song written by Leo: "Guitar Man", name that was given to him that evening by Springsteen himself.

On September 27, 2019 it was released "It's just me... and my guitar Vol. II", the second collection of 30 songs, which contains two new unreleased songs by Leo, titled "I'll fly away" and "Your Eyes". Soon it will be released a record containing only unreleased songs, which Leo is currently working.
